We’re making the leap to Bend’s Westside
We love that 2016 is a leap year. It seems like the perfect metaphor for how our business is growing and taking root. We’re excited to announce that our Tiny Counter food trailer will be rolling up to our new location at 130 SW Century Drive coming mid March!
We're spreading our wings and spreading the love with cold-pressed juice and healthy plant-based foods TO GO.
Honestly, a mobile kitchen wasn’t always part of our plan. But when we were faced with moving our production kitchen sooner than expected last month, we knew we had to think quick and act fast. Having our own Tiny Counter mobile kitchen is definitely one of the best things to come out of having to shift our plans.
First, we’ve always found ourselves wishing there were more options in Bend for fresh food that’s FAST, especially when we’re moving from one thing to the next in our day without any time to spare. Usually when our blood sugar is low and we don’t have much time, picking up a nutrient packed juice or handmade nut mylk does the trick. Unfortunately we haven’t had those options readily available - until now.
Tiny Counter is truly our wish granted. With a new small footprint and mobile location, we can now go out and meet you wherever YOU are. We’ve been developing all kinds of new and delicious items in our kitchen to share with you and can’t wait to add them to our menu. These include soups, salads, handmade gluten-free breads, crackers, seasonal juices, nut mylks and more.
Second, Tiny Counter give us a chance to test out our ideas in a micro-environment before we leap to the next stage of a true retail outlet. We’re creating as we grow, in real time, and we know that collaborating with our customers and responding to your feedback is going to have awesome results. This is pure co-creation, and we’re embracing it. Above all, we want you to feel like you’re a part of what’s unfolding, so please help us out by sharing your thoughts and ideas.
This is pure co-creation, and we’re embracing it.
Right now, we’re working on recipes that incorporate ingredients we already use in our juices to create items like crackers and smoothies. We’re also having fun using our juices as a base in recipes for acai bowls and more by building and layering flavors and ingredients for tasty superfood meals.
Last, we’re creating a variety of plant-based soups that are conscientiously sourced, slow-cooked, dairy-free, soy-free, gluten-free, and unpasteurized. Unlike conventional soups from the grocery store shelf or the deli counter, all of our soups will be loaded with whole ingredients that will keep you fueled throughout your busiest day.
Just like our juices, Tiny Counter soups will be packed in glass jars and can be kept fresh for 7 days or conveniently frozen for later! Down the road, Tiny Counter will offer soup cleanses for customers who want a more robust cleanse in colder months.
As you can tell, the kitchen is buzzing with creativity. And we’ll bring it all to the Tiny Counter very soon.
Thanks for making the leap with us!
